Between Tides is a small, privately hosted retreat
on a family property that has been part of
our lives since 1927.
Rather than directing you through an impersonal
reservation process, we prefer to begin with
a simple introduction.
Perhaps you’re hoping for quiet mornings and a good
book, a romantic coastal escape, a creative reset,
or a few days exploring the Boothbay region.
Tell us a little about your plans, and we’ll help
you understand whether the Carriage House is
the right fit for your visit.

An approximately 690-square-foot studio
accommodating up to two guests, with a full
bathroom and a comfortable place to relax.

The Thoughtful Essentials
A kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave
and cooktop, plus a dedicated writing or
remote-work nook.
03 / THE SETTING
Where Waves & Woods Meet
A separate entrance, an upstairs setting,
and peaceful views of the surrounding trees.
The suite is not waterfront.
Please note: the Carriage House is located above
the garage and requires stair access. It is
a private studio, not a detached cottage.

How many guests can stay?
The Carriage House is designed for a maximum
of two guests, making it especially well suited
for solo travelers and couples.
Is the Carriage House directly on the water?
No. The suite enjoys a peaceful, wooded setting
at Ocean Point rather than a waterfront location.
It makes a lovely home base for exploring
the nearby coastline and Boothbay region.
Does the suite have a kitchen?
It has a convenient kitchenette with a
refrigerator, microwave and cooktop.
There is no full-size oven.
Is the suite private?
Yes. The upstairs studio has its own guest
entrance and is separate from the Main House.
The surrounding property is privately owned.
The Carriage House is located above the garage.
How do I find out about pricing and availability?
Simply send us your preferred dates.
We’ll respond personally with current
availability, applicable rates and reservation
details. Nothing is booked until the
reservation is confirmed.
Can you help us plan things to do?
We’re happy to share recommendations for
Ocean Point walks, local shops, restaurants,
sailing, nature outings and seasonal
experiences. Activities and reservations
with outside providers are arranged separately.

Ocean Point has been part of my family’s
story for nearly a century.
I grew up spending summers exploring this
remarkable stretch of coast, and I still
believe its greatest pleasures are often
the simplest ones.
My hope is that Between Tides offers you
a comfortable place to begin your own
Ocean Point story.
